Abramov Sergey Igorevich

Abramov Sergey Igorevich –is a skilled ophthalmologist who masters all modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. He performs various cavitary eye surgeries and is a first-class specialist in cataract and vitreoretinal surgery.

Sergey Igorevich regularly attends and speaks at Russian and international scientific conferences, congresses and meetings of ophthalmologists. He is also the author of scientific articles and research papers.

S. I. Abramov has performed several thousand vitreoretinal and cataract surgeries in the pathology of the vitreous and retina. He masters the following surgical methods of treatment of various eye diseases:

• cataract phacoemulsification;
• implantation of phakic refractive lenses;
• vitreoretinal surgery;

In 2005, –he graduated from the Russian State Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov; qualified as «doctor» by specialty «Pediatrics»During his studies, Sergey Igorevich worked at the Departments of Ophthalmology, Surgery and Intensive Care.

In 2005–2007 гг. – resident in the City Hospital No. 15 at the Department of Ophthalmology, Russian State Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov, by specialty «Ophthalmology».

At the same time, S.I. Abramov took certification postgraduate classes in cataract surgery and vitrectomy, both in Russia and in Europe. He carried out scientific research to improve surgical technique for retinal pathology and complicated cataract.

In 2012 г. – he undertook an internship in Switzerland.

In 2005 – 2012 гг. – ophthalmic surgeon of the Vitreoretinal Department of the City Hospital No. 15.

Since 2010 г. – ophthalmic surgeon of CJSC Doctor Kurenkov’s Clinic.

In 2013he brilliantly defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medicine.
